Short presentation

With practical and theoretical background, I teach in film, television and web production as well as script writing and ideological development. In the practical production, I am working on testing different ideas development methods that lead to the individual student gaining more awareness of how he or she best develops his creativity and the best productions while also emphasizing creative collaboration function. Through my own practical experience, I know how important it is to tell stories about interesting people, real or fictional, and create engagement with the spectator / viewer or user and make the elements play together as a whole that can also get into the context it has been created for. I therefore work with dramaturgy and narrative techniques, cognition and aesthetics and production in connection with campaigns or branding, for example. on Facebook or Instagram. The students produce shorter or longer documentaries and fiction films, journalistic features, web series and transmedia projects. Recently, my students have also produced Virtual Reality. I like to work with external partners so that the productions are embedded directly in a context.

In recent years, I have taught in audiovisual dissertation on BA and in the two practical profiles belonging to the Creative Media Industries and Film and Audiovisual Aesthetics. The subjects are Creative Media Industries, Production and Communication, and Film Production. In addition, I have taught in script writing and ideological development, been a co-teacher in an interdisciplinary idea development and entrepreneurship course.

I have been employed as a program employee for nine years in Denmark's Radio, where I has produced, written and directed children's programs, been a manuscript reader at The Danish Film Institute and read for Sources, has produced a film website at dr.dk/skole and has spent one year at the USC film school in Los Angeles. In addition, I have a longer coach education and have taken several individual subjects at Psychology (University of Copenhagen).

With a theoretical as well as a practical point of departure I teach film and media production including screenwriting, idea development, conceptual thinking, picthing skills, and aesthetics in audio-visual communication. The aim is to produce short audiovisual products factual as well as fictive for net and for TV.

Med praktisk og teoretisk baggrund underviser jeg i film-, tv og webproduktion samt manuskriptskrivning og ideudvikling. I den praktiske produktion arbejder jeg med at afprøve forskellige ideudviklingsmetoder, der leder til at den enkelte studerende får en større bevidsthed om, hvordan han eller hun bedst udvikler sin kreativitet og de bedste produktioner mens der også lægges vægt på at få det kreative samarbejde til at fungere. Via min egen praktiske erfaring ved jeg, hvor vigtigt det er at fortælle historier om interessante personer, virkelige eller fiktive, og skabe engagement hos tilskueren/seeren eller brugeren og få elementerne til at spille sammen som en helhed, der også kan lægge sig ind i den kontekst det er skabt til. Jeg arbejder derfor med dramaturgi og fortælleteknik, kognition og æstetik og produktion i forbindelse med kampagner eller branding f.eks. på Facebook eller Instagram. De studerende producerer kortere eller længere dokumentarer og fiktionsfilm, journalistiske indslag, Virtual Reality, webserier og transmedia projekter. Jeg arbejder gerne med eksterne samarbejdspartnere, således at produktionerne bliver direkte indlejrede i en kontekst.

Jeg har de senere år undervist fast i audiovisuel formidling på BA og i de to praktiske profiler, der hører under Kreative Medieindustrier og Film and Audiovisual Aesthetics. Fagene hedder Kreative Medieindustrier, Produktion og formidling samt Film Production. Derudover har jeg undervist i manuskriptskrivning og ideudvikling, og har bl.a. været medunderviser i et tværfagligt ideudviklings og entreprenørskabs kursus.

Jeg har været ansat som programmedarbejder i ni år i Danmarks Radio, hvor jeg bl.a. har produceret, skrevet og instrueret børneprogrammer, været manuskriptlæser på Det Danske Filminstitut og læser for Sources, har produceret filmwebside til dr.dk/skole og gået et år på USC’s filmskole i Los Angeles. Derudover har jeg en længere coachuddannelse og har taget flere enkeltfag på Psykologi (Københavns Universitet).
