Research Interests

My main research interests are within Conservation, Citizen Science and Ornithology with a specific focus on studying migratory birds throughout their annual cycle. My main objective is to clarify consequences of different aspects of global climate and different nature management strategies to improve our understanding and ultimately develop knowledge-based conservation initiatives. I am also very interested in long-term changes at spatiotemporal scales driven by e.g. global change studying phenology and mortality as well as intra- and inter-specific interactions.
