Personal profile

Short presentation

My postdoctoral investigations focus on the analyses of plant macroremains (wood charcoal, seeds, nuts, chaff, underground storage organs, dung and charred food) from archaeological sites in the Black Desert (northeastern Jordan) and the Zagros (Iran). My research examines transcendental time periods such as the late Epipalaeolithic and the early Neolithic, looking at changes on the vegetation, plant exploitation and plant-based subsistence.
