Alexandra is a PhD student funded through the 4-year Novo Nordisk Foundation Copenhagen Bioscience PhD programme. She started working at CPR autumn 2017, initially employed 1 year as a research assistant and autumn 2018 enrolled as a PhD student in Michael Lund Nielsen group.
The Nielsen Group focuses on technology development in mass spectrometry for the study of less well-characterized post-translational modifications (PTM). Alexandra’s PhD project especially focuses on developing technologies for studying citrullination and ADP-ribosylation.

BSc in Biomedical Science with an Intercalated year at The University of Warwick, United Kingdom
Intercalated year was spent at the clinical diagnostics company, Micropathology Limited, as Lab assistant in the sequencing lab.
