• How did our solar system form
• Where did the short-lived radioactive isotopes come from?
• How did chondrules form?
• How did planets form?
• Can the presence of planets be deduced from stellar spectra?

Plasma physics

• What are the mechanisms behind gamma-ray bursts?
• How do shocks in supernova remnants work?
