Professor Anne Rasmussen is in the BBC World Update on the 5th of June 2019 talking about the Social Democrats of Denmark looking stronger than the current government. She explains how they have had good, consistent polls leading up to the elections. Rasmussen describes how the party has been taking a lead from anti-immigrant parties and has taken a tougher stance on immigration. In relations to the EU-policy she explains how the attitude of the leading parties is generally positive towards the EU as the Danish population is very positive about the EU-membership.
