Ocean carbon uptake under different climate regimes

Activity: Talk or presentation typesLecture and oral contribution

    Description

This talk examines processes influencing ocean carbon uptake from the atmosphere during different climate regimes, including processes relating to ocean circulation and sea-ice extent. We focus, however, om biological processes as these are becoming increasingly recognized as being important mediators of change in the capacity of the ocean to function as a global carbon sink.
