The vision of European Iran Research Group (EIRG) is to build a strong relationship between European countries and Iran that fosters dialogue, mutual respect, and sustainable development. Through research, training programs, exchanges and facilitation, EIRG aims to promote greater understanding and interaction between Iran and European countries. We aim to support sustainable development and cooperation through close collaboration between stakeholders across sectors.Objectives:
1 Research and Knowledge: Create an institutional framework that facilitates and produces research on Iran, including its relationship with European countries. This entails both a networking function of collecting existing research and connecting researchers.
2 Exchange and Collaboration: By creating an institutional framework for engendering and conducting new research on Iran-related topics, EIRG has the ambition to coordinate, develop and organise greater exchange across sectors (business, academic, etc.) as well as building capacity for more exchange and collaboration with counterparts in Iran.
3 Sustainable Development: Build an infrastructure for sustainable development between Europe and Iran. Support interaction and co-operation between the business communities and fostering collaboration, diplomacy and long-term political development.
EIRG is a non-profit association registered in Sweden.
