Abstract
‘Ready to use’ bibliometric indicators are being used by end users as never before. Administrators and evaluators for assessment purposes, whereas researchers add indicators to their CV in a competitive move to show visibility in the academic community. ‘Ready to use’ indicators are important as they provide researchers with the opportunity to evaluate the effect of their own published works before being evaluated by others.
