N2 - Prostate artery embolisation (PAE) is a new minimally in-vasive treatment for prostate disease. Recent studies have shown, that PAE may be an alternative to transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), and it reduces the prostate volume by 40%. The reduction in symptom score is com-parable to that of TURP, and only few major complications have been reported. The purpose of this narrative review is to provide a brief overview of the current literature on PAE.
