N2 - Hyperhidrosis is a common condition characterized by extensive sweat secretion. Systemic treatment with anticholinergics might prove effective, but patients often suffer from side effects, e.g. dryness of the mouth. We present a clinical case of severe polydipsia in a six-month-old puppy who had accidentally consumed 50 tablets of propantheline bromide 15 mg. Afterwards the puppy suffered from severe polydipsia, which cleared without treatment after three days.
