Abstract
For analysis of atmospheric processes in the urban environment, the microscale meteorological and dispersion model M2UE is suggested, which takes into account a complex character of aerodynamics in non-uniform urban relief. The three-dimensional version of the model includes a system of Reynolds equations, two-equation k-ε model of turbulence and the 'advection-diffusion' equation to simulate pollution transport. The influence of traffic-induced turbulence on the flow pattern is implemented in the model and considered in simulations. For the model evaluation the results of simulation were compared to experimental data obtained from the TRAPOS project, COST Action 732 and simulations by the CFD package FLUENT, a good agreement of the results is shown.
