Abstract
Dansk:

Citizens do not lack information about climate change, but they must be motivated in order to act. Surveys of citizens' motivation, behavior and attitudes towards climate change carried out in three Danish municipalities show that most people feel that they have all the information needed to change their behavior in a climate-friendly direction, if they want to. Even among the most climate-skeptical citizens, more than half possess a good deal of knowledge on climate challenges. Thus, it takes more than just information to motivate people into changing their behavior. Where men are motivated mostly by economic incentives, women put more emphasis on arguments relating to their own and their family’s health.
