N2 - Helicobacter pylori is a Gram-negative, microaerophilic curved rod, that possesses an unipolar bundle of two to six flagella which enables it to move to a specific target with high concentration of chemoattractants, such as urea. H. pylori is a pathogenic bacterium, which is present in more than half of the population worldwide with a range from 20 to 30% in developed countries to 60-80% in developing countries.
