    Abstract

This article reports and comments on interesting Danish Microlepidoptera collected in 2010 and include remarkable findings from previous years. The classification and nomenclature follow the Danish catalogue (Karsholt & Stadel Nielsen, 1998) which is based on the European checklist (Karsholt & Razowski (eds.), 1996).
Fourteen species are reported as new to the Danish fauna: 1) Stigmella sakhalinella Puplesis, 1984. Many larvae were found mining leaves of Betula sp. in the island of Falster in south-eastern Denmark; 2) Ectoedemia heringi (Toll, 1934). Three larvae were found mining leaves of Quercus sp. in the island of Bornholm; 3) Phyllonorycter mespilella (Hübner, 1905), One specimen has been breed from a mine found on Pyrus sp. in the island of Lolland in southern Denmark; 4) Coleophora parthenogenella Falck, 2010. This newly described species is recorded from four districts in eastern Denmark and in two districts in southern Sweden. Only females are known; 5) Coleophora ballotella (Fischer v. Röslerstamm, 1839). Three specimens were taken in light traps in the south-eastern islands of Møn and Bornholm; 6) Blastobasis lacticolella Rebel, 1940. Numerous specimens were taken in one locality near Copenhagen; 7) Atremaea lonchoptera Staudinger, 1871. One specimen was taken at light on the island of Lolland in southern Denmark; 8) Celypha woodiana (Barrett, 1882). Six specimens were collected at light in the south-eastern islands of Møn and Bornholm; 9) Ochromolopis ictella (Hübner, 1813). One specimen were taken at light on the island of Lolland in southern Denmark; 10) Platyptilia nemoralis Zeller, 1841. Two specimens were collected at light in south-eastern Denmark in the 1996 and 2003; 11) Marasmarcha lunaedactyla (Haworth, 1811). One specimen were taken in a light trap in Bornholm; 12) Crombrugghia tristis (Zeller, 1841). Two specimens were taken in light traps in Bornholm; 13) Emmelina argoteles (Meyrick, 1922). One specimen was taken in a light trap on Bornholm; 14) Phycitodes lacteella (Rotschild, 1915). One specimen was taken in a light trap on Bornholm.
We introduced a special list of species with uncertain status last year (Buhl et al., 2009: 67). This year the following species is transferred to this list: Aethes rubiginana (Walsingham, 1903) (Tortricidae). Leucinodes orbonalis (Guenée, 1854) (Pyralidae) is recorded as introduced to Denmark as larvae with aubergines from Thailand.
Unusual host plants are listed for: Parornix scoticella (Stt.), Phyllonorycter oxyacanthae (Frey), Phyllonorycter sorbi (Frey), Coleophora spinella (Schrk.).
The total number of Danish Nepticulidae is now 88; Gracillariidae 87; Coleophoridae 120; Blastobasidae 4; Gelechiidae 177; Tortricidae 384; Epermeniidae 7; Pterophoridae 46 and Pyralidae 197; this results in a total of 1574 species of Microlepidoptera (families Micropterigidae-Pyralidae) found in Denmark. The total amount of Macrolepidoptera mentioned from Denmark is now 965, bringing the number of Danish Lepidoptera to a total of 2539 species.
