It argues that the target article misuse the fact that works of art are based on adaptations that were fitness-enhancing in the era of evolutionary adaptations to claim that great work of art are also automatically fitness-enhancing in the present day environment, at that there are simple correllations between whether a work of art has a high aesthetic value and whether it is fitness-enhancing or not.
