    Abstract

Organizational divides are causing silos and misunderstandings to flourish. Stronger cross-sectorial collaboration is needed – but needs also concrete policy to support such meetings, initiatives, and projects to happen. The One Health approach is good; but is not enough in being a concept for thought, it needs practical nourishment and the support of dialogue between stakeholders and experts.Four key tools might be joint physical meetings (conferences and seminars), joint campaigns and communicative initiatives (requiring dialogue about messaging), co-created research to allow cross-pollination of minds, and joint media to ensure a wider dissemination of ideas, results, and models. The path ahead can use the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals not only as a vision, but also as an inspiration for collaborative initiatives. Perhaps by discussing and deciding upon the sustainable food safety goals 2030 or perhaps 2040 – though we might not have all solutions and technology at hand, establishing common goal and ground can help bridge huge divides.
