Kort præsentation

Since 2018 Thomas Elholm is professor of criminal law at The Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen. Before that (2010-2018) he was a professor of criminal law at the Department of Law, University of Southern Denmark, where he also held positions as Head of Department and Chairman of the Academic Council. He was a visiting professor at Copenhagen Business School (2011-2012). He is an international expert in the area of EU Criminal Law and has authored more than 180 publications in the area of criminal law, criminal procedure, fundamental rights and EU criminal law. Apart from teaching in these areas at his home university and other Danish universities, Thomas Elholm is frequently invited to give lectures abroad. Thomas Elholm was editor in chief of Scandinavian Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology (2011-2017) and he is currently editor of European Criminal Law Review. Thomas Elholm has been involved in numerous research projects, also abroad, including the research projects carried out by the ECPI-group (http://www.crimpol.eu).
