Kort præsentation

Sue Anne's research project is titled ‘Human Rights 2.0: A Primer for the Age of Artificial Intelligence.’ It will center around a structural rethink on the role of human rights and its protection mechanisms in light of developments in the field of artificial intelligence. Her supervisor is Associate Professor Hin-Yan Liu.

Prior to commencing her PhD, Sue Anne was a Senior Programme Officer at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute in Lund, Sweden for 8 years. Here she managed both capacity development programmes as well as research programmes in Myanmar, China, Vietnam and the overall Regional Asia programme.

Sue Anne had also worked for several years with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as a Senior Refugee Status Determination officer and served with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in the UN peacekeeping mission in Timor Leste.  

Sue Anne Teo holds a First Class Honours Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from University of London, a Master of Laws (LLM) from University of Cambridge and a Master of Science in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
