Kort præsentation

Nora Stappert joined iCourts in September 2018 as a Marie Curie Fellow. Before coming to Copenhagen, she completed her doctorate (DPhil) in International Relations at the University of Oxford, Pembroke College (2017), and the Master of Studies in Law (MSL) program at Yale Law School (2013). In addition, she holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in International Relations from the University of Oxford, St Antony’s College (2011). She has previously been a postdoctoral research fellow at the School of Global Studies at Gothenburg University, where she worked on a research program on Legitimacy in Global Governance, a collaboration between the universities of Stockholm, Lund, and Gothenburg.

Aktuel forskning

Nora currently conducts a research project on the practices of interpretation in international criminal law. With this project, she investigates the broader relevance of the decisions of international criminal courts and tribunals in global governance. The project is funded by the European Commission as part of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship. A more detailed description of the project can be found here.
