Kort præsentation
I have a Bachellor degree in Business Adiministration and Economics and a Masters in Human Ecology. Currently I am a Cotutelle PhD student between Macquarie University of Australia and the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. I am a member of the department of Geography and Planning at Macquarie University under the Humanities and Arts discipline. At the University of Copenhagen I am a member of the department of political scinece which is part of Social Science discipline. My intererts can be located within the broader discussion about the anthropocene epoch. In my PhD thesis (Commoning in Times of Global Crises) I am exploring conditions of commoning (form of community resposnes) into the anthropocene both in theoretical and practical level. More specifically my focus is to explore how power relations affect the image of commoning in societal level. In order to galvanize my understanding of this phenomenon I have chosen to conduct fieldwork research in north east Halkidiki where a community of people has utilized commoning as a tool in order to respond to mining. In other words, my research contribution is based on expanding our understanding of community responses and their importance of enriching our political and social realities in a period where our planet is facing a multiplicity of crises.
