Mine primære forskningsområder er inden for intensiv terapi, herunder respiratoraftrapning, sedation, smerte, søvn, delirium, agitation, patientdagbøger, tidlig mobilisering og rehabilitering, med særligt fokus på velvære og restitution af den kritisk syge patient. Jeg er stifter af FSAIO.NET (forskningsnetværk for intensivsygeplejersker) og medstifter af NOFI (Nordisk Forening for Forskning i Intensivsygepleje).
