Kort præsentation

I am a PhD student at Forest Genetics and Diversity working with the detection of invasive pathogens in Danish forests.

The title of the PhD project is "Forest Guard - Detection of invasive pathogens in Danish forests" and I am supervised by Associate Professor Lene Rostgaard Nielsen. The project is in part financed by 15. Juni Fonden and Brødrene Hartmanns Fond.

I hold a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Copenhagen, where invasive species has been the central subject of both my Bachelor’s and Master’s thesis.

Aktuel forskning

My current research focuses on:

- identification of pathogens threatening Danish forests

- study of virulence and host range for disease control strategies

- development of molecular tools for rapid diagnosis of forest pathogens
