The Danish digitalized Cultural Heritage and its users: Usage, search strategies and findability on the Internet

Jonas Fransson

Abstract

In this Ph.D. project three different cultural heritage resources on the web are studied with a triangulation of methods. 1) The users’ navigational strategies to reach the resources and their usage of them are examined by web log analysis. 2) User attitude and experiences are collected through resource specific web surveys. 3) A findability analysis is made to measure how easy the resources are found on the web. Finally, the results from the different angles are compared for correlations.
