Abstract

This article is concerning (about / deals with) a model called "systematic continuous reflection". The model corresponds to a course of action; to take into account and reconsider those criteria of assessment that promotes a development project. The line of reasoning is that the development process should be piloted in a way that is acceptable to and required by the stakeholders of the project.
The purpose of this article is to present an assessment of a model "systematic continuous reflection" as it was taken into use in relation to a library development project label YOUng/ Mindspot at the municipal Århus library system in the period 2007-2009.
The applied process of reflection in relation to the model is inspired from methods/ techniques developed within the praxis and theory of scenario planning.
It is concluded that the model of reflection with advantages can be applied to reflect on criteria of assessment lie behind a development project for the purpose to make the statement of those criteria more precise. It is also concluded that the model could operate in the early stages (phases) with the very first announcement of the criteria. The model of reflection can also be functional in relation to coordinate and incorporate several different requirements explicit by the stakeholders of the project and in this sense to make the project robust. The model is however time consuming.
