Abstract

The Drikungpa has developed in his dGongs-gcig treatise an alternative view of the vinaya, according to which the rules were not made for ordained people alone, but for all beings alike, because what is prohibited and permitted through them is in accordance to the nature of reality respectively non-virtuous and virtuous.
