Ecologic restoration design for urban river landscape degradation: A case of Yurunkax River, Hotan, Xinjiang, China

Abstract

Urban rivers are treasure for cities. However, the urbanization process leads to degradation of the urban river landscape. This paper expanded the methodology of urban river landscape ecological restoration from the vision of landscape ecology and discussed ecological restoration design based on above methodology, for urban river landscape degradation due to the unsuitable development, and the function for restoring river habitant and eco-system.
