I participated with a presentation on the exhibition series "Home Works: A Forum on Cultural Practices" organised by Ashkal Alwan (Lebanon, 2002-present) From the call for papers: CURATORIAL EGO December 9 - 11, 2012 As part of the annual curatorial programme EGO? Århus Kunstbygning hosts a research workshop and a public conference with the theme of the curatorial ego. Workshop: Sun. Dec. 9 at 1pm - 6pm, Mon. Dec. 10 at 10am - 6pm. Conference: Tues. Dec. 11 at 9am - 12.30pm. Contributers to the workshop and the conference include: Joasia Krysa, Artistic Director Århus Kunstbygning, Visiting Associate Professor, Plymouth University, UK, dOCUMENTA (13) curatorial agent, and author of Curating Immateriality (New York: Autonomedia 2006) Chus Martinez, dOCUMENTA (13) Head of the Department, currently the chief curator of El Museo del Barrio in New York Paul O'Neill, independent curator, author of Curating Subjects (London: Open Editions, 2007), The Culture of Curating and the Curating of Culture(s) (MIT Press 2012). Livia Paldi, Director BAC – Baltic Contemporary Art Centre, Visby, Sweden, dOCUMENTA (13) curatorial agent. / with video contribution by Lars Bang Larsen, independent curator and researcher.
